My name is Rachael Wollet
My husband and I are located in the Research Triangle, North Carolina, and are enjoying raising our darling son (born December 2009).
I received my degree in Medieval Religious History, with a focus on religious conflict, from Newcomb College of Tulane University in May 2006.
I have always loved to read, and that love later translated into a love of language in general. I am affectionately known as a stickler for grammar in my circle of friends, and started becoming interested in editing when I was continually being pulled out of stories I was reading by glaring (to me at least) errors in grammar and spelling.
I started small, editing a good friend of mine's book, and then pushing her to get it published. I then found a group of writers who have helped me immensely and provided me with so much reading material, support and encouragement that I can't thank them enough. Thank you to The Writing Wombats!
Currently, I'm tutoring, watching my son grow, and editing to keep my mind sharp.
The Edit Shoppe is my way of giving back to my authors through publicity and of reaching new authors who want quality editing at reasonable prices.
Feel free to look around and contact me with any questions or comments!
